Dead March
In the fall of ‘64 the war concluded with a desperate exchange of occult atrocities which devastated both sides and ushered untold evil from the outer dark. Years later the country retains little of its former glory and is plagued with intrusive horrors. Out on the frontier life goes on much as it always has.
Dead March is a text adventure regulated by common RPG principles. Challenges are resolved by ability checks. Disputes are settled via turn-based combat. As you move through the world you'll regenerate HP, grow hungry, and burn daylight. Every attempt and encounter is a roll of the dice – sometimes you are the roadrunner, and sometimes you are the coyote.
Mature themes. Hyperbolic depictions of violence. Coarse language. May induce satanic panic.
This beta includes:
- The first three chapters of the main story, plus one advanced chapter.
- Three playable archetypes – Gunfighter, Pugilist, and Skinner – each with a distinct combat advantage.
- Combat with real, lasting consequences – cuts, wounds, and worse persist long after a fight ends.
- Test your character against each archetype in combat training.
- First-Person View for exploring your surroundings. Vantage View for surveying the area and scanning the horizon using cardinal directions.

Really enjoyed this one! Love the world you've built, and the writing pulls you right in. Combat feels great too. Super impressive for a beta
Much appreciated.
